The Black Advisory Business Council presents: HERitage Moments: Women Leading Across Health, Mind, and Business

Join the Washington County Chamber of Commerce for an engaging and meaningful conversation celebrating women leadership across health, mental well-being, and business.

This dynamic panel brings together accomplished women leaders whose work spans healthcare, psychology, leadership, and organizational strategy. Together, they will explore how expertise, lived experience, and intentional leadership shape not only individual success, but also stronger workplaces, healthier communities, and more equitable systems.

Through an interactive panel discussion, panelists will share personal journeys, professional insights, and lessons learned at the intersection of mind, body, and business. From navigating leadership roles and managing burnout to building sustainable organizations and leading with purpose, the conversation will highlight how women lead with both strategy and care to create lasting impact.

Speakers:

Dr. Jumesha Wade is an entrepreneur, consultant, and connector committed to creating a generational legacy beyond her immediate sphere of influence. Grounded in the belief that “all children are our children,” she works to ensure every child has a healthy start and the opportunity to thrive. With advanced training in Educational Psychology and cross-sector experience in healthcare, education, and social systems, she leads with a relationship-centered, holistic approach to advancing equity and community impact.
Dr. Aundrea Paxton is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of Take Heart Counseling, where she helps adults navigate life changes and relationship challenges through psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and consultation. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Biola University’s Rosemead School of Psychology. Dr. Paxton is passionate about promoting healthy emotions and relationships, supporting people of color, and integrating psychology with Christian faith.
Dr. Gina Guillaume is a family medicine physician dedicated to advancing equitable, whole-person care. Born to Haitian parents and raised in the Bahamas, she is a first-generation college graduate who earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Guillaume previously served as the first Black Medical Director of North by Northeast Community Health Center in Portland, where she led community-centered initiatives to address health disparities. She now serves as a Primary Care Physician at Cascadia Health and is also an author and speaker who inspires future generations, particularly students of color, to pursue medicine with resilience, purpose, and faith.
