About the Council:

The Unincorporated Washington County Business Advisory Council convenes business leaders and stakeholders from across Washington County’s unincorporated areas to share insights, identify challenges, and shape solutions that support a strong local business environment.

This council provides a collaborative space for discussion on policy and planning matters impacting unincorporated communities, including land use, permitting, zoning, infrastructure, utilities, and workforce needs. Through dialogue and strategic input, participants help strengthen advocacy at the county level and ensure that the perspectives of unincorporated businesses are represented in economic development and planning conversations.

In addition to policy engagement, meetings offer opportunities for networking, information sharing, and alignment with the Washington County Chamber’s broader public policy priorities. Participation is encouraged from business owners, executives, and employees of businesses located in unincorporated Washington County, as well as developers, property owners, and sector leaders across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, restaurants, and the service industry.

Membership is open to business representatives located in unincorporated areas of Washington County, and all council participants must be members of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce for ongoing participation in the Council. Non-members are welcome to attend up to three meetings to learn more about the Chamber and the Council before becoming a member.
